The sight of boarded-up shops has become all too familiar in our town centres. 

This week, the new Labour government have given councils new powers to fill empty shops. This will bring business back to the high street, as well as helping give charities and community organisations a boost through greater footfall.

I know of several sites across Hastings, Rye and the villages  that I will be referring for these auctions. If you know of any shops that have been sitting empty for more than a year, make sure to refer them to me below.
